The Animal Mixables have been part of my collection for a while. It’s high-time I talk about them!
I had quite a hard time doing the research for this post, because there doesn’t seem to be a lot of information out there. However, I’ll put up whatever information I could find. If anyone has any additional information on these toys, please feel free to let me know in the comments.
The Kinder Animal Mixables are were part of a series released by Kinder from 2008 to 2009. The Mixables set has a total of 10 different animals. Each animal comes in three parts (all of which connect together): the head, the body and the tail.
As you can probably guess from the name, you can actually mix the parts up to come up with other wacky creations. Other than that, there’s nothing much more to them. I decided to add them to my collection because I have not seen anything else like this from the Kinder series. They looked cute, and they were fun to play around with for a little time.
There is only one variant present in this series: the panda. This one (as with all variants) is surpisingly difficult to find. The only thing that sets it apart from it’s normal counterpart is the body. Its body piece is white, instead of the metallic grey.
Finding information on Kinder toys is quite difficult, because the communities are quite uncommon and usually in foreign languages. The language barrier makes it difficult for me to search for, and search engines to index. So, if anyone has any information on these toys, I’m definitely all ears. I’m particularly interesting in knowing where this NV code comes from and where the toys were released. Let me know in the comments!
